Fun red transferware Staffordshire plate with an octagonal shape, embossed daisy border and central scene of hunters, horses and game. There are no maker’s marks to help identify the pottery, but I would date this to C1840. It measures 8 7/8” across and is in very good condition, with no cracks or crazing, just a small nick under the rim at 7 o’clock.  No. 7039C

Shipping/insurance in the continental USA will be $12.00.
